Tips for your Birth Story Photoshoot

Capturing the birth of your babe is a special and intimate moment. My goal is to help you to feel as safe as possible. Here are four tips to help you feel comfortable, and ready to have the birth of your babe captured.

Get to know your photographer (ME!): Let's spend some time together. Let's get to know one another a little bit. Want to grab a coffee and chat? I got you! Want to text me 39 minutes before the birth of your babe and get all the info? Cool, go for it! I'm here for you.

Discuss your birth preferences: Let's chat image preferences and what you envision for your birth photos so that I can ensure everyone is on the same page and that the photos accurately reflect your birth experience.

Create a birth plan: It's your lucky day. I'm also a Birth Doula. So, let's create a birth plan that outlines your preferences for the birth, such as lighting, music, and privacy. This can help ensure that everyone is on the same page and that the birth environment is comfortable and safe for everyone involved.

Be respectful: I promise to be respectful of your privacy and boundaries during your birth. Please communicate your needs and preferences during the birth and feel comfortable saying no to any photos or moments your are not comfortable with.
